MEXICO
Animal Equality is moving forward to include animals in the Constitution. The Campaign “Animals in the Constitution” gathered over 140,000 signatures, and the Chamber of Deputies approved constitutional reforms that, for the first time, recognize animals and the duty to protect them in the country’s constitutional text.

SPAIN
A pioneer in investigations in Europe, Animal Equality in Spain conducted an extensive investigation in which 172 pig farms were examined over the course of two years. This work exposed the reality faced by animals to the media for the first time.

UNITED KINGDOM
Broadcast of shocking footage from an Animal Equality’s investigation at a dairy farm, reaching millions on BBC. Violence at Madox Farm in South Wales drew national attention and convinced thousands to go vegan. The farm, certified by Red Tractor, has now been suspended from the program.

GERMANY
In 2023, Animal Equality conducted a 120-day investigation at one of the country’s largest pig farms—the longest ever conducted by the organization and one of the most extensive investigations on farmed animals worldwide.

UNITED STATES
New Jersey joined eleven other states in banning the confinement of breeding pigs and calves raised for veal, following campaigns by Animal Equality.
